Letter from the Administrator

We are proud to introduce Ms. Sherion Schroeder as our Administrator here at Woodridge. As a native Texan, she was recruited to long term care in the 1900’s. Starting her career as an Admissions/Marketing Director, her administrator at the time became her mentor and with her encouragement, Sherion found herself licensed as an Administrator too. Quality care, good survey results and good financial outcomes have been the sources of Sherion’s success. Throughout her career she has had the responsibility for CCRC’s, stand-alone nursing facilities and properties with both skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. She wanted to learn more about palliative care and she has spent 4 years as a director for Hospice. Sherion’s life is centered on her sisters and their families and in addition, Sophie Rose, a Miniature American Eskimo Dog has earned her AKC Grand Championship. Sherion loves showing her throughout Texas; she has grown up in the nursing facility and has been a very special companion to many residents. Sherion loves football and is an avid Houston Texans fan. Sherion is passionate about what we do for our residents and believes that that her work has been a calling in her life.
